no no no no. here's a good example of saying based (someone tells you his dog got hit by asian grandma. calling a robot a clanker. you mainly say based on something that might be taken as offensive or not (like when china posted the AI video of clueless fat Americans working in a factory, during the time of the tariffs, you would say based on that)
