what the heck is an art tutorial?

I wouldn't know.

because despite being a wannabe artist/animator for 6 years (total) I never put effort into learning how to draw.

my art is built on hoping it works (and the last time I genuinely practiced was trying to draw sans without making him look like bread)

so today I decided for once to actually put effort into learning.

Day 1:

today I am currently neglecting schoolwork and Google searching random stuff.

today I want to try and achieve my own style and a consistent way of drawing.

also I beg you don't yap I swear the last thread I made that needed to be updated periodically was flooded. (you can talk though)

May I suggest "The Animator's Survival Kit" book? It's awesome if it's available where you are en.wikipedia.org

I actually have that book, I never actually USED it however, since I was 8 years old and just looked at the pictures

you mean the thing that google always made me search when I tried typing the animator for the first 5 months of me using the website?
