the first one (bad) is my narcissistic drive for self-validation and admiration

not in the toxic or mean abusive kind but its to the point where ill indirectly instigate stuff knowing that itll lead to praise, and for no other reason or interest

ive done smth like this a couple times on this site before tbh, might do it again, might even be in the process of doing so, nobody knows (tbf its very rare that i actually do so). but dont go guessing like youre some sort of patrick jane because im pretty good at being subtle about it hence the description "indirect"

not constantly like i behave normally but it happens enough to where ive noticed smth off about myself. and again not abusively i dont do it when it clearly negatively effects others

its honestly jealousy that affects me in the most unhealthy way

anyway heres the neutral thing about me

i have an extremely strong sense of justice and independence (though im not always good at it), its been like that since childhood

its the type where i feel naturally inclined to go against leader archetypes that even slightly dont fit my moral standards

as you can tell im naturally someone who prefers to work alone. even on games im more of a one man army type of person, and it usually makes me stand out or very unique in the environment i find myself in (including irl but its not always beneficial. my college class thinks im some sort of weird specimen and i struggle socially)

anyway heres the good thing about me

i have an ungodly amount of self control and forgiveness. i tend to find myself trying to help people who have a problem with me rather than mess them up (even when the narcissistic part of me wants me to do otherwise)

not saying that im like kind hearted and stuff, i have said and truly wanted to do horrible things to people that probably didnt deserve allat but i like to think ive matured now. its basically just really easy for me to feel bad about someone even though i dont always act upon that mindset

i trust that people take my 3 core personality traits in with stoicism and not try to label me with stuff that just isnt all that true (for example i dont always seek praise i can genuinely undermine myself as well)
