burnincat mate id smoke you in a scruffle

now that ive got your attention, i need to know if theres any sort of reason why chroma refuses to kill, or if hes just naturally merciful like that

your answer wont affect the outcome of chapter 5, so dont worry about accidentally shifting outernets narrative or anything

but then again im not bothered if hes genuinely just chill like that

@Bombarasclatt

(Ok first off you did NOT get me)

Second, Chroma is a pure being, who simply wants to keep people like White and Dan out of power without killing them, as he truly believes that the worst thing you can do to a person is take their life, which is ironic, seeing as he's been imprisoned and tortured.

So yeah, in short he is genuinely just chill like that

He’s just a chill guy

Nvm

He isn’t that chill after all

@Burnincat

I mean he ain't wrong, just look at what happened to every fictional character who has died multiple times

Yeah, I'm not going against Chromas ideology because I do truly think he's correct, and the only reason that he didn't protect me from getting stabbed in the second episode of Outernet is because he would have killed black had he tried to.

And he doesn't allow himself to kill.

what if chroma changed his mind

If death is the worst thing that he thinks you could do to someone then why does he allow people who deserve it do it to tons of others

@Bombarasclatt

Well, for one, he's trapped.

He isn't a multiversal being like Dan or White, he's just as strong if not stronger, but he doesn't have that luxury, so he can't leave the prison dan has him in.

Chroma truly believes that taking someones life is the worst sin committable, but he respects that death is inevitable, and everyone is going to, at some point, die. As a result, he doesn't, and WOULDN'T save anyone who dies from natural causes.

The reason he didn't save me is because black would have died if he intervened, and that goes against everything he ever believes is morally right.

(Also maybe he knew I would survive?) (Idk he smart he might have)

@Bombarasclatt

Yes, yes I am.

The dude destroyed a universe by pushing it together, which takes, (after a quick google search), 10 to the 71st power joules of weight, and the ability to alter and ignore the known laws of physics.

Chroma knows this, he saw it happen, and he's currently facing what he see's as a possible end to gah damn EXISTENCE, so yes, I am rightfully glazing

Wasn’t that just an animation aka a world not a universe, if I recall bumbarasclatt’s explanation thread correctly

i have yet to distinguish visually the difference between animations and studios but i consider both to be universal and multiversal respectively

white crushed a universe where a load of animators were huddled together (most of the chapter 1 animators)

Yeah I recalled wrong I just read the thread again
