you see the door handle mechanism to my room (the door handle basically) wasnt working, so the little thing that keeps the door shut is just held in place no matter how hard i rattle it, so i phsically cannot open my door no matter what and im just stuck in my room

had i been home alone i probably wouldve just jumped out my window, which is 2nd story so that mightve costed an ankle or two

my dad managed to throw a screwdriver into my room so i could get into the little door gap and pry it open

as you can tell i was in fact mere moments away from suffering a horrible tragic death (broken ankle)

really scary though because it opened fine like an hour before but now i obviously need a new one

…..

What a terrible way to go 😪

why did you consider jumping out the window before kicking down the door btw?

how do you lose a whole entire door does it just grow legs and run away

ive already had my fair share of experiences with kicking solid objects and it wasnt pretty last time

also just didnt want to break my precious door

they took it down and then forgot where they put the screws, my handle and the door frame.

my door went on a bizarre adventure in home depot, it was like it went on a golden experience.

My door when back to the forest and appeared in a LOWE’s and decided to camouflage since it was playing prop hunt
