Streets are weird because they carry more than just cars and people they carry stories like the smell of fresh bread from a corner shop reminds you of mornings you never had and the graffiti on walls shouts secrets or jokes at anyone who cares to look and the streetlights flicker like they have moods and sometimes you see people moving fast like they are running from something invisible or slow like they are waiting for something that might never happen and cats slip through alleys like tiny shadows that know things you dont and music leaks from open doors and blends with the wind and you start thinking about the weird ways time works because the same street can feel endless or gone in a blink and you remember moments you thought were small but suddenly feel huge and then a bike bell rings and you are back in the now noticing the cold on your hands the taste of gum you forgot in your mouth and the way the clouds look like they are chasing each other even though they never meet and you realize streets never stop talking they just wait for someone to listen and sometimes you are the only one paying attention and that is enough.
