ik its not a new feature but i heard he was coding something, I wish there was a layer button so i could color in stuff without it blocking my drawing

yk if you want that to happen you can request it to dan and he might consider it. This one time I told dan if he could make a feature to add hex codes and he actually did, so bcuz of me theres hex codes in this site.

There is a layer button maxing at 5 layers

I am moving the website over to a framework called Next.js. I’m also rewriting it in TypeScript.

In theory it’ll make it less buggy and easier to add stuff in the future.

It is a TON of work however. I started to do it two years ago. I’m getting closer.

Oh and I also need to move it to a new database which is more of a pain than you might think.

absolutely insane, take as much time as ya need, as far as i know all of us arent in that much of a hurry :P

Eventually. I know what to do to fix it. But it is very complicated and involves surgery to *every animation ever made in the database*. So it'll be a while.

In my defence, the database was created years ago when you couldn't actually create animations that big (and I never imagined anyone would actually do so!)
