How animate fluidly
my animation looks choppy or some sort and i need a lil help on animating fluidly
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, welll... theres no definitive way to learn fluid animation.. i suppose you can try and think the movement out logically..? think of it as this! a run cycle, and you have one foot planted on the ground. when you run, your foot doesnt just magically move now, right?(the one on the ground)
i dunno if you get my point, but try to plan out your movements a little more!(who am i to say? i just wing it!)
put in more effort in your drawings (stickmen) & frames and make sure they look humanoid and shaped.
and if you need tips on frame timing: for slow paced animations like walking i usually do 100 ms and for smearing i do 75 and for impact frames i do 25 or 50.
agreed! my stickfigures have evolved a lot over 6 years and theyre literally just human anatomy simplified at this point! as for slower things.. for walking i still do 75, 100 if im lazy, for impact frames i do 45 and for everything else i do 75! for hand to hand combat i do something around 90.. as for if choppy animation(which looks really good at times) i do 100 ms!
remove the if in front of "choppy animation"... my brain wasnt braining :/
