happy march
updates because nothing to talk about:
don't know if i've mentioned it before, but i'm in my school's musical this year, i'm in the pit. we're doing the little mermaid this year, so, naturally, i listen to the broadway soundtrack almost religiously. however, this comes with fun new addictions to songs. currently i am addicted to "I Want the Good Times Back" AND I WISH SO BAD IT WAS A PART OF OUR SHOW BUT IT'S NOT SEFIUB
also, since i last posted here, rehearsals for the musical have changed from 2:45-4:30 to 3-6. I DO NOT GET HOME UNTIL 6:30 MOST DAYS
uuuhh
one of my friends talked to me about starting animation, i said do it
uuuhh part 2
was going to vent then i realized that's not what anyone's here for. anyways, hey there, hi, hello, how are you doing?
what is the pit (i know nothing about musicals/theater)
the pit is another word for like percussion :) specifically the pitched perc.
mm pancake
Ohh, i guess it's different than band, that's cool :]
Yeah pit in marching band is the percussion that doesn't march like xylophone things. In musical its the people who play the music for the musical.
We had our musical a while ago. It was Sister act. Personally I wasn't in pit, though I could have been. What instrument do you play? And I'm sure you'll do great 😊
i got a violin for christmas cuz I wanted one. I got the fingerings down and I understand it, but I can't seem to get the bow part right
So real weaser
I love how violins sound, though I don't think we had any in pit :(
