So, what's up with the 30 day wait on changing your username? Is it a coding thing, or something else?

I deliberately designed it to be an occasional thing. Otherwise it'd be chaos - nobody would know who anyone was.

@Dan I also have a question for you.

So, you know how when we @ /ping someone, if we type one of their earlier usernames, it just changes it to their username now?

Example: @poopoosmelly

Anyways, can u make it the same with login? Because sometimes I forget my username (dementia haha) and i have to search the whole website to find it. Thanks so much and Happy Thanksgiving!

@Dan Could you please fix the date posting? example if i made an animation 14 days ago and i finally posted that animation, it wouldn't be on the first page, it would be 14 days back, would you please fix it? please and thank you.

Makes sense, but we can just click on there name and we go directly to there studio, where we can find out who they are/were.

he said it was meant to be a very unfrequent thing to do, something thats not supposed to be changed everyday

That's also deliberate. It was done very early on to stop people spamming the front page. I may revisit that decision. It's a common complaint.

The previous usernames are saved forever so I can redirect URLs and show the correct one in the comments. I don't want too many in the database (and it makes it harder for new registrations to pick names).

you can fix that quite easily by just deleting the animation and uploading it again in the editor

If it's too old it just updates, it doesn't go to the beginning
