roleplays in a nutshell

main character gets born

mysterious intro cues

villain gets introduced at the beginning of the story

main character discovers lore about themselves that was more likely made as a plot device

main character meets other side characters which are all more than likely just there for comic relief or emotional support

one of the side characters pulls a twist villain on the main character

main character gets locked up in jail or something i dont freaking know

they escape with the help of a friend

villain finds out and goes all "i'm going to kill you and your family"

main character and side characters fight villain

villain is defeated and the day is saved

the end

and those are my thoughts on roleplays. some of them can be pretty damn bad if they're not executed right, and i'm not saying that they're all like this. some of them, like @Luni_ 's roleplays or the ones they participate in, from what i've seen are pretty well executed and do have a good amount of lore. some just feel all the same tho and again, i'm not complaining, it's just they kind of feel lacking. i know they're made for fun and i like their creativity, just saying that when you reduce it down to more simple terms, that's all it really is. also, i'm probably going to get attacked for this but whatever

like all them roblox things? yeah, it can be dull

im talking mainly about roleplays outside of roblox that use this very same concept, just kinda wish it'd be a little different. we should really bring back the meme roleplay, that one didnt need to follow a consistent plot or storyline and we could just do whatever the hell we wanted with it because it was just memes and nothing serious

@Luni_

roblox roleplays are just "me adopt kid kid become adult adult goes college adult gets job adult gets girlfriend adult gets married adult has children adult has cancer adult is dead"
