We’re Working On This Area of the District, STAY OUT!

Well, he’s done it. The Sorcerer finally took everything away from us, the District…. It’s all in ruins thanks to him. That portal he started construction on a few weeks ago, it’s become a real danger. A threat to us all. That portal was made from something related to dark energy… dark matter… some other force that none of us had knowledge of before. Its sheer presence alone was enough to cause long-term damage to the District. What was once a metropolis full of life and a town full of joy and happiness… It’s all been erased. It’s all in vain now. The damage is looking to be irreparable. The president of the North discussed today what we could do to salvage as much of the town as possible, but I’m afraid there’s not much that we can do about this. That portal shook the ground and with the amount of force that it used… it caused an entire earthquake, causing the buildings, the streets, and whatever else was lying in the area to be destroyed. The infrastructure of these buildings aren’t looking too good. Some had minimal damage, with only a few cracks in the floors and exposed walls, while others weren’t so lucky and lots of rubble was left behind. We came to the agreement to hire a construction crew to hopefully try and repair the damage, and we’ve also put in some construction fences, roadblocks, shipping containers, heavy equipment and wrecking balls to either repair what has a chance of being recovered, or get rid of what barely survived. Here’s to hoping that we can repair the damage in time. I have the feeling that that portal is going to cause much greater damage than just an earthquake would.
