there is/there was this Dutch themed pancake house in the Conwy water gardens that I used to go to when I was itty bitty and I'm absolutely craving their pancakes so bad

there was also an aquarium / exotic pet store which had huge ponds full of koi and it smelt like damp wood but in the best way possible

also they apparently have capybaras there and I'm heart broken that there's no way I'll ever be able to go visit again unless I go by car

I'll go feral if I don't have a good pancake at once

the koi part reminds me of when I was wee I used to go to a mall in california when we were on vacation (It’s called fashion island I think) and they had a huuuge courtyard with a koi pond you could walk across with stepping stones. Anyway I think it’s gone now 😢
