I almost died.

But nobody asked or cared.

Apparently I got the eye, the worst of it.

No power and internet is great.

The eye is calm.

The ring around the eye is the bad part.

The eye isn't bad, but around it is.

You could've gotten both.

I should’ve probably worded it more.

I got the eyewall.

Wasn’t in the eye, but was close, extremely close, so it’s the eyewall.

The eye is calmER, but winds can pick up extremely fast even if calms for a minute.

Flying debris.

My dumbass self decided to go outside into the open and got out of the way for debris flying around.

I had a late reaction and debris almost hit me.

Keep in mind that the winds were over 100mph

Even if I didn’t die I could’ve gotten really hurt or injured.
