1- don’t get tunnel vision. Often I’ll be writing a sentence and go hmm… I’ll change that, and that doesn’t look good right now I’ll change that too. Then I’ll go back and think wow that sentence makes no sense. Another reason to skim over your work before you show it.

2- be descriptive. Use personification and feel how it would look if a person were there. Bonus- you could add an image or illustration for clarity.

3- idk I just thought of the first two while brushing my hair. good luck with your writing endeavors
