i want to be in complete darkness cuz i like it but im afraid of the dark

scratch that im not afraid of the dark

im afraid of what i cant see lurking in it

but im still scared so

my brain is confusing

im terrified of the dark

in my old house, i had no windows in my bedroom so my room would be pitch black and quiet if you closed my door

i also had 2 giant pictures of my sister in my bedroom (even after she moved out and finished college) and i kept it up because my walls looked bare without them. the pictures were creepy when you just stared at them. my sister's eyes would just follow you everywhere. she'd give you nightmares... every... day....

anyways i'd always cover my head with my blanket to protect myself from monsters and demons... even though i was just covered in more darkness

y'know that thing where you close your eyes and see images and stuff? yeah, i'd see crazy things like a demonic spongebob (seeing that gave me a panic attack and taught me to leave my door open at all times) and a fat cat who jumps around.
