My mom just bought a house and we are putting so much effort into making it look nice (we haven’t moved in but we’re doing stuff like painting, redoing the floors, etc.) but now in the car she just asked me what my opinion on moving back to Florida was.

I was born in Florida, I personally love it lmao but ok

A vacation’s fine but it would be a lot to give up if we’re going to be moving back.

I think she just wants to go because my grandpa would be happier and her current money situation is stressing her out.

Florida is a good place if you take the heat, gators, and hurricane weather out of it.

I currently live right next to a famous family attraction.

And when I say: “right next to” I mean RIGHT NEXT TO. I can take a bike ride over there and it’ll only take like three minutes.

And plus... Florida can sometimes get REALLY cold in the winter.

This winter we got down to 36 degrees (Fahrenheit). And it was HELLA cold. I’m technically used to cold weather. BUT ITS STILL COLD WEATHER.

Moving and living in all of those places just, seems a little... unnecessary to do so.

I mean he might move so much cuzof work opportunities

I've only ever lived here in Wales and Portugal but have moved 18 times in my lifetime

And here I thought moving 4 times was kinda a lot.
