wither i missed a massive change in language or i'm dumb.

so recently, it's been drawn to my attention that confessing to someone is now the same as asking someone out, even if it's just a, "hey, i like you" sort of deal.

this isn't just the people in my school being idiots, right? this is in other places? please say yes so that way i dont have another reason to call my school 'mentally special'.
