The Animator

When I go to clear my notifications no matter how many times I clear it, it doesn't go away until about an hour later. Like it still has the red (2) up next to my user. I dunno if it's just meant to be delayed but it's been there for a while

The same thing happens to me. I don't fully know why it does that or what it is, but I just reload the site and it goes away.

I was kind of hoping someone would say something before I did-

yeah same here i t never goes away but when i refresh it goes away idk why when i look at the notification it does not go away or when i clear it it does not go away until i refresh the page but still

Yeah it is a bit random and annoying. Will look further into it.

i think refreshing fixes it

*Sigh* it seems a library I was using doesn't behave as their documentation says it does.

This should be fixed now. The notification count should update within a minute of you clicking on a notification link, or immediately if you clear the notifications.

Oh and since we're talking about a notification bug, Dan for a while now, occasionally, when people ping me, it doesn't show up in my inbox so I don't know they tried to get a hold of me. It doesn't happen all the time but it does sometimes
