has anyone here played Earthbound/Mother 2?

i was going to play it on my switch but i wanted to know if there was anything that i should be aware of before i play (as in anything questionable or terrifying). i'm still going to play it regardless, but i was just wondering

outside of that, i want hear stories about weird stuff that has happened to you.

like, when i was 2-3 or something, me and my mom came back from the grocery store and we were standing on the stairs of the apartment.

i was leaning back to see if i could fly on the stairs (because i would have dreams of jumping down flights of stairs for fun)

i was basically about to fall and have a concussion when my mom grabbed me and i felt like time slowed down and stuff. it all felt like a dream so i don't even know if it was real. she's not even going to remember if i ask because it was literally 10 years ago.

I've told this a few times, but I've only recently realized it's probably important.

So in the 2nd grade, I got hit in the head with a chair leg. How? Someone lowered a chair and bonked me.

Anyways, ever since then (about late 3rd-4th grade but whatever) I mix up my left and rights and cannot figure them out sometimes.

Please help.

I was pushed down the stairs in second grade 😎

Aww man :(. The way I figure it out is to put your hands up and make an "L". Which ever one makes a normal L is left, and the one that doesn't is right.

So I have no idea if this was real or a dream but I was going to preschool at the time.

I get to school like normal and there's no one there. I walk to my classroom and there's no kids anywhere so my teacher escorts me to the hall then into a different classroom with that room's teacher in there too {I could never get her name right so I always called her Mrs. Brownie. her name was actually Brandy, curse you younger spraky.}

I was told to sit down and I was given pancakes and chocolate milk. I have no idea why but I didn't question it because i was 4 and why would I question pancakes and chocolate milk.

It was a great day and I was never given an answer as to why I was the only kid at school that day

And something I remember very clearly was that my mom made my hair into 2 braids so I kinda just came to love braids {I hate how I look in them now} so whenever I wanted to have braids, I'd tell my mom "Make the hair that I was wearing the day I was the only kid at school." because I also didn't know what the word braid was

i used to struggle with opening milk cartons when i was in preschool, so i'd always spill on myself

there was this girl i was enemies with and her name was Precious (of course :eyeroll:) and i hated her from the bottom of my heart because she was so extra and annoying and made fun of me and acted like she was rich asf (she was arrogant, pretty much).

she was sitting near my crush that day and starry though: "this would be a great time to ruin her life :D"

so i spilled milk on her. like, everywhere.

such a great time.

I don't know if this was even real or not, but i remember the bathrooms being narrow and having no walls to separate anything so we could literally watch other people take a dump

The best thing to say in that situation would've been don't cry over spilled milk. Take that PRECIOUS

I hate her already.

A healthy dose of prolonged eye contact

Not really a specific story, but I get deja vu so much it's weird. I don't know if I'm a fortune teller, going crazy, or if I'm just an attention seeker and this happens to everyone. But I would be doing something random and it would hit me all of a sudden: 'this exact moment has happened before.'

Weird.

it can be unsettling at times but im sure u'll be fine

ye sometimes i listen to new songs and i it sounds familiar

oh and same thing as ive done this exact same thing before, i usually think i remember it from dreams

not sure if this is what you mean but once i had a dream where i randomly got shot by some shady dude in a lamborghiniininini or somethihnsg and it felt so real that i AAAAAAAAA
