Another random question
BobAnimationsDo you ever overthink everything?
Like, just now I thought
‘Why would you make your career what you’ve been passionate about your whole life? Eventually you’d get tired of it and the all the time you spent dreaming about that career would feel wasted because you realize it’s just as boring and as any other job, and life is still expensive. There is no job that would make you happy, because it’s either a little work, but a little money or a lot of money, but a lot of work. And if you won’t find a good job, then what was the point in school? Did you waste your childhood with stress just to be stressed in adulthood?’
Lmao sorry if I confused you
StarryNeptuneI overthink things but it's usually not in a negative way. I usually try to see things in a different light and make whatever scares me... well, not scary.
Like what you said:
"‘Why would you make your career what you’ve been passionate about your whole life?"
"I choose not to decide my future at this point because I know my interests and the world will change. I don't have to stick one job or interest, I can do a lot more, as in a side job like selling pottery or something. I always said I wanted to be an artist, but I'm not sure how that'll work out when I'm an adult. Plus, it's just a hobby and I don't want to get tired of it because I have to draw everyday.
I don't know what my lifestyle will be when I grow up, so I don't want to focus on how much money I make, and it's not much of a big deal right now since I don't pay bills, but it's nice to know financial things like saving money, how the economy works, etc.
Regardless of what happens, I just want to be happy. I want to be happy with what I want to do and figure out what I can do with my money when the time comes. If I don't find a good job now, I'll figure out what to do and possibly find support.
Of course, there are a lot of things that I don't find useful in school right now until that one specific moment. But honestly, I'll just take the info and keep it in mind for whatever happens in the future and just get good grades to get into a good high school where I can find good opportunities. If not HS, then college."
Right now, I'm thinking about doing things I like and know I won't really get tired of, like writing.
If things go wrong, I have my own ways of coping. I just live in my own mind and enjoy/observe everything around me, even if it is bad.
StarryNeptune*JEBUS I'M SORRY
I DIDN'T MEAN TO MAKE IT SO LONG
CookieTheRookie2*when Starry types so long that it gets out of hand to the point where people have most likely stopped reading the whole thing*
I overthink stuff about the multiverse. I’ll explain more later.
StarryNeptuneim really sorry for typing a lot :(
i usually try to limit how much i write but it gets out of hand
i started to cut out stories about myself and just get straight to the point but i'm really bad at summarizing things
BobAnimationsI read the whole thing
Honestly I think it’s cool when people write a lot
StarryNeptuneAh, thank you so much.
I know that a lot of people don't like to read a lot so I try to limit it but I love details, lol.

StarryNeptuneNo, no, it's okay. I didn't mean to make you feel bad.
