A thread to complain about school
BobAnimationsThis week is a four day week for me. Not that long, right?
No.
Last school week was a 5 day school week. The first one in my school in quarter 3, because we had snow days and half days.
That week felt like a seven day week.
Will this week feel 6 days long?
I hate school.
What’s the point of P.E. ?
To get exercise? Does school not trust us to do that on our own? They trust us to finish homework, why not trust us to be healthy. Besides, and hour of walking around every other day isn’t going to make a huge difference in our health. Why not just let that class period be to let kids get an extra elective? And sports like soccer or volleyball could be an elective option for those who enjoy physical activity. Just saying.
(If you couldn’t tell, I’m really trying hard to avoid P.E.)
Lmao what’s your least favorite subject
StarryNeptuneJeez. My school gives us a lot of breaks now that I think about it. We literally got Friday off last week because of parent teacher conferences, but it my elementary school we just had a half day and had our parents take us home after lunch.
personally, time goes by fast in classes because i don't really pay attention.

PE is probably the most useless. I was fine in elementary school, and it helped me because I was overweight for a while.
Middle school sucks though. We literally spent the first 30 minutes of class everyday nothing before changing our clothes, then sat down for 20 minutes waiting for the teachers to stop talking and having their own personal conversations, then they spend the next 10 minutes talking to us about the same instructions we hear everyday, then we spend 8 minutes actually doing exercise. Basically they waste my time.
They literally won't even let us run because there are too many students. Speaking of students, there are literally 8 girls in the entire gym compared to the 24 other boys, which is stupid. I never thought I'd ever have boys make creepy comments about my body, for goodness sakes.
They spent literally 4 weeks trying to do the fitness gram pacer test which literally takes 2-3 days. For the push up part, I only did 1 push up the first time AND the second time, meaning I never improved. We never focused on any part of our body for exercise, except our legs.
I'm pretty sure I gained weight while being in that class.
I'm switching out of gym for 8th grade, 100%.
Anyways, I've had really good teachers in my school so far, so I don't blame them (mostly) for my bad experiences. My least favorite teacher/subject was my 6th grade science because she was really, really, really lazy and basically put work in front of us and expected us to understand it. I have trouble understanding science in general, ugh.
again, no clue what schools y'all are going to, but the only classes i have trouble with are ela and (depending on what we're doing) pe
ELA: All my teachers I've had for ELA (since moving to my current location) have sucked. I hate them all. Before I moved, it was one teacher per class teaching all subjects. But when I moved (4th grade btw) all of a sudden, we have different teachers for different subjects because sure why not. And because of this, I can hate a certain subject because of the teacher. That subject is ELA. My favorite ELA teacher I've had would be my 6th grade ELA teacher. She was a good teacher. Following would be my ELA teacher from the beginning of this year, before a teacher was found to fill in his spot, because this teacher was a temporary. I hate my current ELA teacher.
PE: The struggles of asthma. Anyways, as long as we're not line dancing or some crap, I'm fine with it. And it your school doesn't have an entire unit for line dancing and gymnastics, consider yourself lucky. This year was the first year I didn't have to do either.
Thank you for reading Pointless Rant III.V
BobAnimationsStarry, ikr, like we spent half an hour walking in a circle waiting for pick me girls who think they can get away with skipping class by staying in the locker rooms to get out. Then they take ten minutes to yell at us as if it does happen everyday. And while the only hard working teacher who is honestly kind of scary yells at us, the other two are off in the corner chatting. Not only that, but my class wastes half of our time goofing off and bullying each other.
Honestly, I don’t try to stop them. It’s not my fault if I get a bad grade, and if it means less time running around like a bunch of lost idiots because our teacher didn’t give clear instructions, then I’m in.
StarryNeptuneThe worst things that have ever happened to me in gym was the first few days where we sat down on the cold dirty floor doing nothing because we couldn't participate without EVERYONE in the gym having their gym clothes, and when some kid took off his clothes to fight some other dude that was literally twice his size. They ran outdoors to fight too (our gym leads outside in case of a fire/fire drill).
The teachers don't really do much anyways, and I guess it's because the only female gym teacher there is pregnant so she can't do very much. She's really nice, but who ever had her as their main gym teacher says that she's the spawn of the devil or something. O-o
I'd rather do line dancing than anything 😔
