@Dan I just went into the editor because I had enough motivation to create something, but I couldn't even draw or do nothing.

The image doesn’t show up but I’m also in florida

Actually it’ll depend on your browser, in chrome on a desktop computer, you should see it.

The main thing is that it doesn’t appear as a broken image

The computer I was on earlier is a Windows 10 Surface if I remember correctly.

Ok. I'm on a Windows 10 Surface. And I can see the image. It wouldn't let me see it on my mobile yesterday.

In order to fix the Apple/Safari crashes, I changed how the pencil tool works. In short, it depends on loading an image to create the pencil texture.

In your case, for whatever reason, your Surface failed to load the image and so the pencil tool didn't work.

I've just pushed out a small release that will retry up to three times to load the texture and show a proper error message if it fails all three times.

... and in my defence, that wasn't a bug in the editor, that was your internet connection 😆

I always knew school internet and the home internet sucked. 🤔

for some reason it did the "failed to load" thing with the pen and fill tool too.

I'll retry now though.

Can you tell me *exactly* what you see on the image link I posted above? That is literally the file it's supposed to be downloading.

A rectangular white image with grey sploges here and there.

Well, more like there's grey dots like, everywhere.

What browser are you using? Edge? Chrome? something else?

Google.

Can you follow these steps to help me a bit more:

- With the editor open on the error page:

- Right click on the page and choose "inspect"

- In the pane that opens, choose the "network" tab at the very top

- If you don't see a "console" tab at the bottom, press your escape key to bring it up (or press escape again to open it if you closed it)

- Refresh the page

- Screenshot the result and upload it somewhere or email it to me at help@theanimator.co.uk

I don't know how to do much of that but I think I could manage it.

I don't know if I could "email" it. The only emailing I can do is through Outlook. And all I can email is through people within this school.

It doesn't matter to me though, I lost a bunch of motivation and it's turned into a rare thing for me to upload pictures/drawing/animations on the Gallery.

But, I will try it though.

i only really see the grey when i reload and when i reload it looks like d u s t y or something, when i dont reload it looks v e r y faint

ye and i cant use the trackpad on my chromebook to draw, but i could before so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
