Ok so my hair is naturally curly {Like 3b type curly hair that is very frizzy} and I haven't straightened my hair in YEARS

Like about 4 years ago or smth

My hair is about shoulder maybe armpit length when its normal.

So I got my mom to straighten it because A) I would burn my hair to a crisp, and B) because it take hours to straighten it and I would really not wanna do that thank you

Its well past my shoulders and the ends of it look like mini broomsticks lol

There is no particular reason for this thread other than I'm excited cuz yeah, I haven't had it like this in years and yay.

PLUS something I could never do before was run my hands through my hair and do that flip thingy girls do or whatever because of my curls.

but now i can.

i don't really like straighting my hair because it hurts. it was cool when i did have my hair straightened, but sweaty forehead amirite

curly hair like yours is coiled.. hence why its appears short until straightened its gets flatten out. if that makes sense
