The Animator

In March of 2021, I talked to my old, old best friend.

We barely talk to each other and keep in contact because she doesn't use her email and stuff.

I said happy birthday to her, and she didn't respond.

I was checking my email today and found out that she responded to me a few days ago, and it made me feel good and empty inside.

I haven't talked to her in, like, almost a year. I'm guessing she was just looking through old stuff and found out I said something to her.

I just told her that I'm glad to see that she's doing fine, I still use my current email, and we can always talk on other places like Discord or I just give her my phone number or something if she wanted to still talk to me.

It felt awkward, but I felt happy to see that she's okay right now. I thought she died or something, but she's just fine.

I still want to talk to her despite all the cringe and weird stuff that we did in 3-5th grade, she seems sorta fun to talk to now. It most likely won't happen but I'll give it a shot.
