istg im sick and tired of people saying "boys will be boys" LIKE NO STFU PLEASE- i dont know if its because of loads of trauma or just the fact that if a male is being a horrible person in life all you get told is that its just because they are male. I hate it when people do this and i wish they would all just shut up. oh your brother beat you up and threw you on concrete until you couldnt feel your body anymore? yeah its just because hes a boy. no no no no no no shut up please i just want to tape their mouth shut.

It's not a healthy mindset at all, regardless of the gender.

"We're doing this because you need to be a fine, young lady"

"You need to do [x] because of [y]"

"He hurt you because you're a girl"

"This happened because of [abc]"

What does my gender have to do with this? Gender isn't that important (in a lot of scenarios) so why does have to do with anything now? Does having a body part or something change the outcome? Gender or any other of your features aren't an excuse for anything.

Stereotypes with general males are stupid because it automatically means that you're an aggressive, blunt, strong person. Like, no. It's not that hard to understand that not every human in existence is a copy of each other, we have the things we prefer, our strengths and weaknesses, etc. Just let it go.
