WHY

You're hurting the book and you're hurting me smh /hj /lh

I remember I told a friend to stop doing that because it damages the book and they looked me in the eye and made this huge crease in the page.

Ok so to get where I'm coming from, I've loved reading for a good portion of my life and books are awesome.

And if you're like "Well Sparky, how else am I gonna remember where I left off?"

JUST RIP PAPER OFF OF SMTH AND USE A MAKESHIFT BOOKMARK YOU EGG

I also remember the friend who made the huge crease in their book go "Well, you don't fold your page and you dont have a bookmark. What do you do then?? Memorize the page number??"

WELL YES. I forget a lot so I just try to find the words I remember leaving off on and I'm also too lazy to rip paper or make a good bookmark.

Yeah, ok, so moral of the story,

don't dog ear your book pages you stale baguette, or else I'll become your sleep paralysis demon and break your crayons.

i rip the corner off and use that as a bookmark 😇

I don't fold the ends anymore because it's ofc going to stay in the page once you take it out and that's not good for my new books :(. Trying to make a simple bookmark turns into an arts and crafts session and I already have a messy table-

I can never understand the people who literally fold the entire page though, you people... need some help.

Why did I hear a thud in the corner of my room? There's a "Dora the Explorer 3+ 123 coloring book for kids" book stuck to my ceiling :(

it slowly ascends and does the orange justice

If I need to stop in a book, I always go read to the next chapter and memorize that number

If I can’t stop at another chapter I just shove something like the tv remote in there

I promise I won't fold my pages anymore just don't become my sleep demon-

i fold them only because its either a school book or i do not have paper on hand

I fold them cuz i never memorize the number, cuz i have literally 50 different numbers to memorize :/
