intense swirling and whirling
StarryNeptuneAnesthesia is not fun.
[Before I ramble about stuff here's some context: I used to have a stomach disease around the time I was 7-9 years old. I started to have symptoms again but much worse. I was told to get an upper endoscopy, where basically a doctor puts you to sleep and looks inside your stomach. I had to do one 2 years ago, and again today]
.
When using anesthesia, it just starts off as nothing... my ears start to feel plugged but i can still hear (sort of like someone pinching my ears but they're numb so it feels weird)… then I start to see things in the corners of my eyes... then a pattern of swirls appear in my eyes and I literally cannot see anything but the swirls, then you become numb and sleep.
The only thing I wanted to talk about were the colors I saw.
I remember the first time clearly and would love to talk about it in full but I'll just shorten it:
Gas tastes funny, the doctors tell me a joke to laugh because it's laughing gas, switches the gas mask (?), the doctor tells me that my left side will start to become numb and it does immediately, making him say "oomph", my mom puts her hand on my leg while saying "it's going to be okay". The more important part to me was the colors. I mostly saw rainbow swirls and fireworks and I felt like I was about to die.
When I did it the second time, I was alone this time, being told to breathe and just let it happen. I saw black and white swirls this time, sort of like those hypnotic circles (and for whatever reason, my nose area was going up and down in stripes). I only shook my head lightly while moving my hands up and down because I wanted to see if I can still feel/move my arms. Anyways, it felt like the best sleep of my life that lasted 2 seconds.
I still taste the gas though, tastes like helium in a balloon and the balloon rubber itself.
Anyways bye, I'll go cry in bed now, bye again.
Holy sh- that's a scary experience... i wouldve been paralized if i did that-
StarryNeptune(I just now realize this is really long D:)
It is scary.
I was confident because I was given medicine to calm down, and I was covered in heated blankets and was able to watch TV before the procedure.
When they put the mask on, I then realized what I was about to experience. I started to shake intensely because that's just something I do whenever I'm scared and cold in a hospital.
It left a bad taste i my mouth. I let it happen, and I just tried to think of positive things about what was happening. My mouth felt funny and it felt like my tongue was inflated, so that was... fun?
Onyxayo when i was little i had h pylori
worst thing ever the medicine was awful too so id throw it up
anesthesia is fun but it gave me the worst dream ive ever had
Onyxfeel better soon <3
ye feel really good soon. <3 <3
StarryNeptuneSame, but I got an ulcer (and gastritis) because of it >:(. The medicine is very bitter, and it sucks that I had to take it again in September.
