Ah yes. Don't we all love ELA class :DDD

MY TEACHER'S EXPECTATIONS ARE FAR TOO HIGH. LADY, LIKE, CHILL OUT-

Ok so I took the PSATs on Thursday {I absolutely hated them, as did everyone else} and the day before, {Wednesday. No. It was Saturday before, Sparky-} my teacher told us that we're gonna write an essay with a word minimum.

She barely told us and she was like "Ok guys, I want the entire outline done by Friday." And when she assigns a due date, she wants it done before class starts. Let me remind you that ELA is my very first class of the day-

Everyone was drained from the test so only a handful of people finished the outline on time.

We have to have the entire essay typed out by Tuesday {so right before we come to class. Basically Monday night it should be done} and we start presenting it on Wednesday. GIRL, YOU'RE GIVING US LESS THAN A WEEK TO WRITE AN ENTIRE ESSAY WITH A WORD LIMIT OF 700, PLUS IT HAS TO MEET THE RUBRIC YOU GAVE US. I'M SORRY BUT THAT'S NOT HAPPENING

And plus, since I'm gonna start moving houses, like actually moving tomorrow, I'm not gonna get internet for a while so I can't type up my essay before its due.

I'm trying??

People are like "Your mental health comes before your grades." But it's really like;

I focus on my grades and I get stressed because of it and the boatload of work i have to do and have no time for myself.

I focus on myself but my grades start slipping so I get stressed about that.

It’s going to get much worse as you grow older, compared to senior years your grade level allows you to breathe more

Hang in there, the year is almost over

Usually at this point my class would just start talking back. I’ve seen the student-teacher debates that happened and they’re not pretty 😍
