Right...
so at school, I recently started carrying around a notebook that I use only for drawing/comics.
In my ELA class, a kid (let's call him Popcorn) saw me drawing and said "YOOOO THAT'S AMAZING" and complemented me.
I said thank you, but then he asked how old my character was. I wanted to say over 18 because I knew that Popcorn would say something inappropriate about her, but at the same time if she was under 18 he'd probably see it as wrong.
I stuttered and said she was 15.
Then he said "Coo-hoo-oool~ I'd [very wrong thing to say *here* because i don't want to get in trouble~]"
I responded with "What the actual heck is wrong with you, she's... under 18"
Popcorn says "SO?! I'm twelve, she's fifteen, not much of a difference."
I tell him to shut up and the kid sitting next to me (Let's call him Zoo) points at something in my drawing and asks me what it is.
He's pointing to the drill-witch-broom thing that the girl is flying/sitting on, and you know, I say it's a drill.
Zoo looks at me with a concerned smile, and says that something is wrong. My drawing has a spiky hoop thing at the bottom half the drill-broom and I get what's talking about and I just close the book.
I reallllllllllly don't like it when someone says my characters are hot or something because they're really not, and it's not comfortable. Saying a character of mine is "thicccccc 😳" is really awkward, like what the heck am I supposed to say about that? (Even then how is my character remotely thick or why can't i be comfortable drawing someone is ""thick"")
F you Zoo and Popcorn. hmph.
Anyways, I'm mad but eyah, I might show you the drawing tomorrow, I'm proud of it and I'm trying out a different art style :)
grandmatorchicshow us the drawing now not tomorrow you ketchup packet
If they mean the drawing is pretty/hawt😳 in a way that compliments you, I would think it’s perfectly fine but it honestly sounds like they’re on something, like
15 AND 12, POPCORN
NOT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE HUH
THREE YEARS FROM NOW THEY’LL BE AN ADULT AND YOU STILL BE A SMOL CHILD 👶 👶 👶
Onyxmiddle schoolers are the scariest things ive encountered when it comes to people
grandmatorchicwhenever someone gets late to class in physical education, we all start clapping as if they’re this war hero returning after bombing some evil peoples territory, with the smoke and fire raging in the background while they walk forward in slow motion
StarryNeptuneI WILL <33
Ahh, you're right. Most of the time they're *implying* something
EXACTLY
I'm going to animate that now just for you, thank you :D

Ikr-
wolfy711give them a big smack for me
if they keep doing it, would you be able to tell a teacher that theyre saying those sort of stuff?
StarryNeptunewill do
I can tell my teachers :)
not sure how I'm going to be able to explain this to them but i could do it :)
and this kids, is why you dont give your characters ages. that is literally i want to say.
StarryNeptune"So you see... she's actually a 3000 year old demon that looks like a chil-"
CookieTheRookie2omfg why do all animes do that? (also vision unfocused for a sec aaaaa-) this is jesse))
sparkyyyes. smack them for me too.
Middle schoolers are so weird. Like 30% of them try to me somewhat mature but then everyone else is stuck somewhere in the abyss.
This is legit a drawing, there's nothing exactly "wrong" with it.
And yes pls show it because your art is beautiful and whatever someone says about that {zoo and popcorn, sparky would like to know your location. bring some ice packets, thank you.} doesn't change that at all <33
