Once, I went to the emergency room.

Me and my mom sat there for a while, and I started to get hungry. I told the nurse there and she gave a paper back with a plain cheese sandwich and a small pack of saltine crackers (I prefer to call them soda crackers).

This was the experience that got me into cheese, and more importantly, soda crackers. (I already knew what they tasted like and I liked them, but at this point I loved them.)

Once I got out of the ER, me and my mom went straight to the supermarket and bought a HUGE tin of soda crackers. ( m.media-amazon.com )

My mom knew that I'd eat, like, half of the tin if she left it in the kitchen. So, she left it her bedroom and gave me a handful when I asked for them [Once a day, ofc].

I, of course, found the tin and kept in my closet. I ate half the tin and gave a few to my older brother. Then I ate the rest.

It was too late when my mom found out about the tin. :)

I do regret it now because I would have loved to share it with my family instead of hiding for myself.

It's been 2 years ever since I laid my tongue on those tasteless, delicious, crispy crackers.
