hi its been about a week and half ever since i laid my hands on my computer

anyways i've devoted my life to yugioh. i know this was never established (I think...?) and i wanted to talk about it earlier but i didn't want to because i thought i'd come off as weird.

so yeah in June/July i started watching the original yugioh and got into it. I'm on season 4 now and its been 3 months. whats also great is that I plan to watch all the spinoffs/other (so yugioh gx, 5d's, zexal, arc 5, and vrains. thank god they have less that 5 seasons each). I think it would take ~about~ half a year to finish all of it unless i find out how to watch yugioh sevens but tbh it looks boring.

ummmmm.... i want to comment more about what i watched but 1. spoilers and 2. what are the chances of you understanding a thing i say... wEll uh I love the 5d's theme song BuTt my stomach always starts to rumble and i feel nauseous which ObViouSly isn't supposed to happen when you listen to music

I watched it when i was around 4 when it was airing on tv but i didn't like it 😭

i just have a faint memory of sitting with a friend and watching tv lmao

This shouldn't be too hard to understand with context:

Um... Seto Kaiba is the worst character in the show my lord (Next to Tea because she sucks as well-)

First of all, this is completely unrelated but my dude looks like he's in his early 20's (Yugi looks 12-14 lmao) but is SixTeeN

Second of all, Seto has no character development (as of season 3) even after "dying" twice. [Spoilers]

In season 1, Seto duels Pegasus aka Creator of Duel Monsters aka the card game they play in Yugioh. Seto duels Pegasus for his little brother's soul back. Seto loses and has his soul taken away. Guess who had to save his petty little [donkey] and his bro's soul. YuGi (MC of the show). I count soul-taking as a death of a person btw. Um,,, In season two Seto is still a [redacted] to Yugi and his friends (honestly i didn't care about joey and yugi's friends as they are completely useless to the plot but yEaH). Mokuba (seto's brother) somehow gets taken away again (seto should keep an eye out lol) and uh yeah... Yugi saves the day again. In season 3, the show really shows you the problem with Seto. There's this entire arc where basically Yugi, Seto, main villain, and Joey (yugi's best friend) are in a competition called Battle city and blah blah Seto decides to take the top 4 contestants (names mentioned above... or to the left... idk) to this special island for stuff and yeah. There's a kid named noah who traps everyone in a virtual world blah blah... Mokuba gets taken away for the 3rd time (jebus) and yeah... pretty much Seto's backstory and stuff is actually sorta.... it makes me feel things. like i guess its gozaburo's fault (seto's stepdad) for treating him horribly and turning Seto into the way he is but... it just feels weird that he's cold to Mokuba (not mean) [pt.2 coming soon lmao]

The show itself adknowedges that Seto's horrible when Mokuba calls him out on the same thing Yugi calls him out on

what sucks is that Seto only listens to Mokuba ig and goes to help Yugi even though he denies everything Yugi says.

I just don't get why Seto can't be nice and be mean when he needs to be

like my dude already has [almost] everything he needs. he owns a gaming company, his little bro is doing just fine, etc. what the fudge is he all grumpy for >:(
