Yesterday night i heard loud booms that i thought were fireworks but i have a feeling that they're gunshots instead because i didn't hear anything that a firework makes (like a whistling noise or fizzling noises). On the news it said that there was an incident yesterday/today but it was in a sorta-different state, which is like, a 20-ish minute drive there. (Just checked in my state and there was an incident in a park that's somewhat near my area.)

i heard the same thing again and i think they're fireworks...????

i understand-ish if people want to prepare for fireworks literally 10 days before 4th of July but why when almost everyone is sleeping?

but yeah im scared. im too shy/scared to warn the police about the sounds or something. there's no way im going out either to find out.

anyways i hope everythin's okay.
