something people are normalizing on social media is owning exotic pets,, please you dont need a tiger just get a tabby cat instead of pulling it out of the wild :((

exactly, same with sugar gliders

people dont understand what exotic pet you're allowed to own and whether its damaging for the species or not

i had sugar gliders once we got rid of them after noticing we couldn't take care of them + we had a chameleon so yeah it was a dumb choice to get a chameleon and sugar gliders at the same time. there names were sweetie and baby i think it was a while ago. but yeah don't get exotic pets unless you can take care of them have the right habitat and are in the right areas in fact don't even get them exotic pets are legit just there to look pretty unless you have a great relationship with the exotic animal just no.

don't get pets just to flex them on social media or to look cool

especially if they're an endangered species (like axolotls)

just get a normal pet and actually take care of it like a normal human being, not a diamond ring that you want everyone to see.

also if they are endangered or shouldn't even be being bred by breeders don't buy them try get somebody to take the animals away from the breeder so they can be put in a program that helps the species. like white tigers they arne't even meant to be a thing a breeder started breeding a odd looking white tiger then boom white tigers now exist. see how there eyes are crossed eyed? it's meant to be like that prrty sure it's from their kind being bred and bred by popular demand they shouldn't exist another case of breeding going too far. there are some other animals like that. next thing you know you'll be seeing green golden puppers (yep they are a thing extremely rare tho).

aren't*

i think animals like hamsters are an exception but when its animals being taken out of the wild and are only in few bunches, then thats a problem

i think its semi ok to own a fox *IF* 1,you have the time to take care of them.

2, it was a rescue and not an impulse buy

i could say that about a few animals such as snakes or axolotls but it depends on its species

Oh right sorry @Onyx @StarryNeptune @wolfy711 all the animals she owns are rescued. The foxes were rescued from fur farms, and he has to keep them because they cannot survive on their own

They're juniperfoxx on Instagram

She's a vet too
