why does this happen to me so much-

i know that i should use they/them whenever i don't know someone's gender but i automatically forget when ever i say something

i prefer he/they/faer over it/its but i still use it

I try not to misgender my best friend

They go by them/them but when I'm not talking with them, I keep saying she/her

Everyone else does it too but that's because they're not exactly "out" yet

It's sorta hard, but you'll get used to it later

I'm now trying to figure out what they go by (they're gender fluid)

They're name is a gender neutral name anyway but I think they go by a more male name?

I don't even know anymore. I'll ask when I talk to them again. But I usually just call them by the nickname I gave 'em
