Well, time travel can't exist because if you time traveled from the future in which time travel exists to the time in which we are living now, you would theoretically have been reversed back to this time, as in before you had ever time traveled in the first place, so you might have time traveled, you just don't know it because you are the version of yourself that was sent back in time, memory and body being rewound to replace your original self. That's only if you think of time travel working in that specific way though, so I wouldn't know for sure.

In addition to what I said before, if you're thinking about time travel as in your future self traveling through time while staying as is, we might just be in a universe in which the future never comes to warn us, or if in the future we create time travel, our future selves might've accidentally warned different universes instead of our own, since, with time travel, you're technically traveling to the timeline in which the past is taking place currently instead of having happened before, so the timeline in which they could've traveled to might just be a different one than our own.

And because of that fact we wouldn’t be able to know if we did, so we would be in a paradox of time travel never going farther than our future selves time before they traveled back. We wouldn’t be essentially living forever if you think of it
