I usually do the same. I might even write stories, and play with my toys even though I'm "too old" for them.

Ever since I was 5 (or 6), I created this fantasy "series". I still "work on it" everyday. :D

the stories that do get written out are usually ideas that i never work on ;-;

ive been working on my fantasy world since ?2017? but its gone through so many clunky changes

I have LOTS of stories in my head. They're all about me being a different person, with a different family, different background... Most of the time even a different world where different things we would call freaky happen. I've only just recently started writing them down on paper. But I've had these stories ever since I was VERY little...

Although, since then, some of the stories have changed

Man, I've never told anyone about this. It's so much easier saying these things online, although we should always be careful not to get too intimate...
