Well, I guess you could say that I'm being a bit stupid here.

I never really touched or played with the wii u, but I have a wii (well, its my brother's wii). The wii itself has great games, will give you great memories, and supports gamecube games (Meaning you could play the games like the original Animal Crossing, some Mario games, smash melee, etc). The wii u doesn't exactly have that.
