I used to think poor was rich

right was wrong

reilegion was justice

nights were so long

those time were cold

3 broken souls

ready to be renewed, storys to be retold

but alas, look at me now

i used to think white was supierior

blacks were different

i couldnt interpret

life and drag

of course they are all broken memories of the past

did i let that break my soul

did i leave us on the floor

did i let discrimination ruin my role

well the answer is no

look at me now

i have no shame

now im not tumbling on the edge of fame

BUT ALAS, LOOK AT ME NOW

ima become a poet
