Prolouge

As Nightpaw walks through the forest with his clanmates, they eventually reach Fourtrees, at the gathering, there was already Wind Clan and River Clan, but no sign of Shadow Clan, the three leaders gathered on top of Highrock, looking down over the clans, "Hey!" a voice comes out of nowhere, "I'm Icepaw, a River Clan cat, you must be...", Nightpaw swiftly responds with "Nightpaw.", "An apprentice of Thunder Clan.".

Chapter 3

As Nightpaw and his clanmates reach camp,Nightpaw goes to the fresh-kill pile and finds a mouse to eat, Dirtpaw joins and grabs a crow, "So, how'd it go?" asks Dirtpaw, "It wen't alright, although, Darkstar said there is a dangerous cat on the loose, named Eagleclaw.", Nightpaw responds, "Huh, never heard of him.", Dirtpaw swiftly responds, "And he's a white and ginger cat.", Nightpaw responds, Sunclaw joins the apprentices and grabs a squirrel, "Yea, I have seen him myself, blue eyes, quite fluffy, look-wise.", Sunclaw says, "Where did you see him?" Nightpaw asks in curiousity, "At a gathering, he had a scar on his left eye, he was the deputy once, until he pulled off a move of betrayal, and tried to kill Darkstar.", Sunclaw responds, "Seriously, if you see him, immediately report to the leader or deputy.", "Mountankit, Rockkit, they're missing!" Silvertail shouts in shock, "What?" Crowfoot asks in shock, "This must've been Eagleclaw, who else would it be?" Nightpaw thinks in his head, Silvertail's kits have been stolen.

Chapter 4

"Get patrols out around the borders of Thunder Clan, Nightpaw, Sunclaw and Blackstripe will be the first patrol, right now.", Lightstar says, "Yes, Lightstar.", Blackstripe swiftly responds. As they walk through the forest, they see a white tail dissapear into the bushes, "That has to be the one who stole the kits.", Blackstripe says, as they go into the bushes, they see a white and ginger cat run off, "It has to be Eagleclaw!", Nightpaw thinks, "Hey! Give our kits back!", Sunclaw says as the kits Eagleclaw is holding are meowing in fear, "Don't think so.", Eagleclaw silently responds as he runs off into the bushes and forest, they have reached Sunning Rocks, and Eagleclaw starts swimming across the river, swimming like a River Clan cat somehow, "How?", Blackstripe says in surprise, Eagleclaw gets on the other side, and hangs the kits over the river, "No! Don't drop them!", Sunclaw says in fear, "Who's gonna stop me?", Eagleclaw responds evily, and drops the kits, "No!", Nightpaw shouts as he jumps into the river following Rockkit and Mountainkit, Nightpaw paddles quickly towards the kits, as he grabs them and keeps their heads above water, he hits a stone, but he grabs onto the stone and manages to get on it, there are 4 more stones leading to the coast on Thunder Clan's border, the raging river is making waves that cause the rocks to become wet, Nightpaw get's ready to jump, and succesfully jumps onto the next rock, with both of the kits, "This won't be the last of me! You will bow before me soon...", Eagleclaw shouts as he runs away into the darkness of the bushes, Nightpaw succesfully made it to the Thunder Clan coast, with the kits, "That was so dangerous! You could've died!", Sunclaw rants, "But I didn't.", Nightpaw responds in exhaustion, "Yea, atleast he saved the kits.", Blackstripe agrees, "Let's just get back to camp and return the kits to Silvertail.", Nightpaw swiftly responds, Sunclaw and Blackstripe nod in agreement, the kits are saved!

Chapter 5

"My kits! Thank you so much, Nightpaw!" Silvertail says in relief as she licks both of the kit's ears and Nightpaw's ear, "Thank you so much, Nightpaw, that was really brave of you, teaches us to watch out for Eagleclaw.", Lightstar says, "We'll have more patrols.", Lightstar adds, "Yeah, seriously, thank you so much, besides, it's time for the kits to become apprentices!" Crowfoot says, "Really? Wow!" both of the kits say in excitement, Lightstar gets up on Gatherstone, "Every cat that can hunt on their own, please gather here at the Gatherstone!" Lightstar says, suddenly, cats swarm in and take their spot at the Gatherstone, "As you know, our kits got saved by Nightpaw, thank you so much.", all the cats cheer for Nightpaw, and it makes Nightpaw feel happy, "And, it's time for them to become apprentices, Rockkit, Mountainkit, step forward please.", the two kits step forward in excitement, "Do you two accept the position as apprentices?", Lightstar asks, "Yes!" both of the kits shout in excitement, "I ask Star Clan to protect these apprentices, and let them train to become great warriors someday, Rockkit, you shall be known as Rockpaw, and Mountainkit, you shall be known as Mountainpaw.", all the clan members start to say the two apprentice's names, Lightstar gave the sign to listen, "And, I shall assign them mentors, Whitefur, you will train Rockpaw, Vinetail, you shall train Mountainpaw.", Lightstar says, as the two mentors sit next to their apprentices, "Meeting dismissed.", Lightstar says, there are two new apprentices in Thunder Clan, what a nice day!

Chapter 6

"You saw Eagleclaw?!" Dirtpaw asks in surprise, "White and ginger cat, said that we'll all eventually bow down to him.", Nightpaw responds, "Well that ain't happening, I'll claw up his stomach until runs away screaming like a helpless kit.", Dirtpaw says in anger, "Well, I don't think you will be able to.", Sunclaw barges in, "If he is as dangerous as he sounds, we might be in some serious trouble.", Sunclaw says, "Blackstripe told me what happened.", Darkpaw comes in, "You really were brave, Nightpaw.", Darkpaw adds, "Thanks, not gonna lie that was the scariest thing I have ever experienced.", Nightpaw says, "Well, you're home.", Sunclaw responds, "Alright, we have to get some sleep, tommorow we'll work on hunting, alright?", Sunclaw says, "Alright!" Nightpaw swiftly responds as he goes to the Apprentice's Den. Nightpaw wakes up and stretches, and then he remembers it's time to train, as he goes outside of the Apprentice's Den, he see's Sunclaw waiting for him at the exit of camp, "Ready?", Sunclaw asks, "Ready.", Nightpaw responds, they walk out of camp, going to the direction of the Sunning Rocks, Nightpaw stops to smell the air, "What do you smell?", Sunclaw asks, "A rabbit and the faint smell of Eagleclaw.", Nightpaw responds, "Well, I hope we won't see him for a long time.", Sunclaw responds as Nightpaw get's into the hunting pose, and Nightpaw hears bushes rustle, meaning the rabbit is in the bushes, he steadily and silently makes his way to the bush, and pounces on top of the rabbit and kills it in one blow, "Great job!", Sunclaw congratulates, "Thanks!", Nightpaw responds, things are going alright, for now...

(Fun fact: Vinetail, Dirtpaw, Mudwing and Coalclaw are she-cats.)

Chapter 7

Nightpaw is walking through the forest at night, with an owl howling in the distance, he's at Sunning Rocks, he sees Eagleclaw, staring at him, with more cats behind Eagleclaw, "Attack!!", Eagleclaw shouts, Nightpaw isn't able to move "Eventually, an Eagle and a Hawk will come into battle.", a mysterious voice says that right before Nightpaw wakes up, "Star Clan?", he thinks to himself, as he stretches and goes outside of the Apprentice Den, Dirtpaw greets him, "Hey! Good morning!", Dirtpaw greets Nightpaw, "Good morning.", Nightpaw responds, "Sunclaw and us two are going on a hunting patrol, I'll catch alot!", Dirtpaw says, "Yeah, me too!", Nightpaw playfully responds, "Alright, guys, let's go.", Sunclaw says to the two apprentices. They are walking through the forest, in the direction of Fourtrees, until they spot Eagleclaw, standing next to the Thunderpath, eating a rat, "Again?", Sunclaw says in surprise, Eagleclaw notices them "Get out of our territory!", Sunclaw shouts, "How about... No?", Eagleclaw responds as he runs and pounces onto Sunclaw scratching his shoulder and belly, Sunclaw struggles to get the muscular amber-eyed traitor off of him, eventually he does and tears off fur off his left-side, Eagleclaw doesn't even flinch, Dirtpaw runs in and bites Eagleclaw's ear, as Sunclaw get's his back legs, but Eagleclaw easily shakes them off, and then Eagleclaw turns to Nightpaw, it stings Nightpaw with fear, but Eagleclaw runs to Nightpaw and Nightpaw avoids his pounce barely, as Nightpaw tears Eagleclaw's back, and bites his shoulder, Eagleclaw get's free and scratches Nightpaw's side, as Nightpaw screeched in pain, he immediately ran towards Eagleclaw and knocked him over and scratched his belly agressively with Eagleclaw pushing Nightpaw back, and Eagleclaw running away into the bushes, as Nightpaw pants, somehow, he is the only one able to take on Eagleclaw, Sunclaw and Dirtpaw get back up, "Let's take you guys to Coalclaw.", Nightpaw says.

Chapter 8

"You'll live for another day, you just need to rest, same for you Dirtpaw.", Coalclaw says to Sunclaw and Dirtpaw, "So... How exactly did you beat Eagleclaw?", Coalclaw asks in curiousity, "I don't know how I was strong enough.", Nightpaw responds, "Well, I certainly have no idea, you are lucky you just have a torn ear.", Coalclaw says, Nightpaw has no real idea on how he was strong enough, as Nightpaw walks to the Apprentice's Den, Darkpaw notices Nightpaw, "What happened?", Darkpaw asks in surprise, "Eagleclaw, we got in an unexpected battle.", Nightpaw responds, "I swear I'll tear him to shreds!", Darkpaw says in anger, "Don't think so, Sunclaw and Dirtpaw stood no chance, I somehow did, Coalclaw says that they'll be fine, I somehow did stand a chance.", Nightpaw tells, "Let's hope he doesn't show up anymore that much.", Darkpaw calms down, "Yep, wouldn't want any more casualties...", Nightpaw responds, Eagleclaw is really starting to become dangerous, the first battle showed that clearly.

(Chapters like Chapter 7 are called Long-Chapters and Chapters like Chapter 8 are called Short-Chapters.)

(Have I become the ancestor of creative ideas on here? What is life?)

(Not gonna lie, it's easier to write a book like this than a whole animated story.)

Chapter 9

"Gathering day...", Nightpaw says to Dirtpaw, "Yeah.", Dirtpaw responds as they are walking to the gathering, all 4 clans are now here, "Oh, hi again Nightpaw!", Icepaw says, "Hey, how ya doing?", Nightpaw asks, "I'm doing alright, Frostclaw is a great mentor to me.", Icepaw responds, "Sunclaw is my mentor, he's also great.", Nightpaw tells, "Clans of the forest!", Thornstar says as he continues to tell about the new things in his clan, same for Leafstar and Darkstar, "Our clan has experienced 2 Eagleclaw sightings.", Lightstar announces, "He has battled 2 of our apprentices and 1 warrior, good thing they are okay.", Lightstar says, everyone starts murmuring in surprisement, "So watch out for an amber-eyed white and ginger cat, muscular build.", Lightstar adds, "He was once a warrior of Shadow Clan, but he killed our previous deputy, Metaltail, he thought he would be chosen deputy and not caught, but we caught him and drove him out of our clan, please, beware of Eagleclaw.", Darkstar tells, "Well seems like he really is dangerous.", Dirtpaw says to Nightpaw, Nightpaw nods in agreement to Dirtpaw, "We have seen a white and ginger cat at the Thunder Clan side of the river.", Thornstar says, "Then that's Eagleclaw.", Darkstar responds, "So, please beware of him!" Darkstar adds, the sun is starting to rise, as every clan starts to head to their territory, why is Eagleclaw like this, and what does he want?

Chapter 10

"Eventually, an Eagle and a Hawk will come into battle.", Nightpaw thinks to himself, "What could it mean?", he thinks to himself while walking with his clan back to camp, Lightstar gasps, as everyone else gasps, Nightpaw looks at camp and also gasps, they found Rockpaw's mentor, Whitefur, dead in the middle of camp, "No... No!", Rockpaw whispers as he goes to Whitefur's body and sits down, "No... That's... That's it... We're leading an attack to Eagleclaw.", Lightstar says, "What? You can see what he did to Whitefur!" Blackstripe protests, "I don't think he'll be able to take on a full clan...", Lightstar responds, "Unless he has one of his own, of loners.", Nightpaw says, "Let's just take a few days to prepare then.", Lightstar says, let's hope we win.

Chapter 11

"Tomorrow, we fight Eagleclaw, I doubt he'll win, at all.", Dirtpaw says to Nightpaw, "Who knows, we barely know him, we are already fighting him, due to 2 deaths in 2 days, I just hope we don't lose our clan.", Nightpaw says, "I'm sure that won't happen.", Dirtpaw calms down Nightpaw, what Dirtpaw said, hopefully will be true... As they wake up the next day, Lightstar is in the center of camp with cats around him, the golden amber-eyed cat looks pretty serious and well rested, "A few more minutes until we go.", Lightstar says. After a few minutes passed, all the cats are around Lightstar, "Alright, let's go, Nightpaw, where did you last see Eagleclaw?", Lightstar asks, "Next to the Thunderpath, Thunder Clan territory.", Nightpaw responds, "Alright, we'll head there.", Lightstar says. As they are walking through the forest, they reach the Thunderpath, with Eagleclaw and some unrecognizable cats, "I knew you'd come, Lightstar.", Eagleclaw says, "Me and my loners will tear all four clans to shreds, and own the whole forest to ourselves...", Eagleclaw adds, "You won't!", Darkstar's voice comes from the bushes as most of Darkstar's clan emerges from the bushes, so does Darkstar, "You will pay for killing Metaltail.", Darkstar says in anger, "I don't think you will.", Eagleclaw says, "Attack!", Eagleclaw says, at the same moment, Nightpaw remembered the dream, this might be the deadliest battle of all...

Book ended! I really hope you liked it, I worked on it for a long time, and yeah, hope you enjoyed, the 2nd book, Moon Of Blood will come soon!
