Hai-Tai discovered his powers as a teen. Accidentally phasing through the ground one day and being trapped in a cave for days. He was beaten up by wolves, bears and starved, leaving his face forever disfigured, which he covers with his hood. Explorers discovered him in a cave and rescued him. Hearing about his powers, Trevni searched for him and adopted him, persuading him to join his team of Villains, The Upbringers.

Hai-Tai has the power to phase through objects.
