You and Amelia walk into a forest in search of the Stone of Serenity.

Both of you yearn for rest, so you look for somewhere to rest. You encounter a rundown, crusty, musty Inn

You rest until morning. Upon Awakening, you see a giant fat rat on the floor, staring into your soul. Amelia watches the rat carefully

The rat holds something shiny and glossy...

"Me and my children have heard about your plans," the rat said. "You're thinking about saving this land, hm?"

You nod.

"I have the stone of serenity right here you peasants, and I don't have any plans on giving it to you! I think I'll look good in history books."

You grab the rat before it runs off.

"The Dark One gets closer at every breath, don't you dare leave."

The inane rat swallowed the stone whole and defecated in hopes of making you let go so it can run of. It worked, but it ran into a wall right after.

What do you plan on doing with the rat, dear mortal? (This is day 2).

@StarryNeptune I kill it, cut it in half, and then get the stone afterwards.
