yeah I was going for a bit of ULTRAKILL but heaven and HELLDIVERS but heaven and LETHAL COMPANY but heaven and I guess pressure works to.

anyways this is just an idea I had while thinking: what if instead of hell in ultra kill it was heaven? but instead of V1 searching for blood it was HUMANITY after polluting earth and our solar system to the point they tried travelling out to the universe. however they learn that there was never anything for lore reasons and lose some of the best of humanity in the ships sent. because of the lore reasons related to the failure of migration. HEAVEN appears over earth. almost like a rift in space. in a desperate attempt to survive humanity ventured into heaven. this caused the descent of the angels. an event where humanity lost even more of its population. even more desperate. one of the descendants of ELON MUSK?!? forms a company. ASCENT COMPANY. this is where HELLDIVERS and the LETHAL COMPANY inspo is from

at first it wasn't a company but more of an army made of almost all of humanity who either enforced law or were soldiers. even some mercenaries. they were sent into heaven to fight the angels. because when the humans ventured into heaven they saw it... almost endless and possibly so land. clean air... and angels... bled... they had FLESH... FOOD which they lacked.

after the inevitable failure of the first attack on heaven ascent corp was founded to get civilians in the mix. it spread like propaganda that heaven nearly pushed humanity to extinction and that in their darkest time they should unite against them. of course the lower class people took these job offers as it was hard to get a job in a dystopian future as a low class or even mid class citizen. the company paid a wage Wich was all that really mattered. it was called work yet it was really war. the workers of ascent corp were called Knights. because it sounds cool and ascenders doesn't have a ring to it. anyways they would search heaven for angels eliminate said angels. which were then taken to base later by the crews who would clean up the knights battles. angel and human bodies. employees or knights

ANYWAYS they were usually around 18-30 years old and were treated as disposable soldiers who's purpose was to secure the future for the rich all in the name of humanity and war for survival. similar to HELLDIVERS were disposable soldiers fight for their home SUPER EARTH with multiple suspicions about the one leading them to battle against the robots, bugs and squids they encounter losing many allies.

in this case ASCENT CORP wants humanity to think that they are fighting for freedom when in reality they are attacking heaven for their own needs. eventually earth being directly over heaven is conquered which causes more conflict as humanity's last strongholds reside on Mars the moon which they are retaking and the rest of the solar system.

oh and yeah this is a angel. its a concept design for a most likely giant one. you cant see its full design but its based off the eye ball dude with golden rings with eyeballs.

Idea if a human drinks the angel blood they should become a hybrid between human and angel therefore get some type of power but the wing if ripped off can be use to torture hybrid and fully formed angel torture method can be gripping the wing really hard , cutting it , stepping on it and more :)
