You should try some smear frames

Especially for the ball

when the thing you just put down disappears by PlanetAntMan

You connect 2 frames of a thing being at two different places with a warped/smeared frame

Try making the ball get thinner and longer as it moves, and wider and shorter when it hits something, like adding a rubber property to it
