Here's some advice, when you have a fun opportunity, don't pass that down because you may never get that one opportunity back.

(Something similar happened to me.) I had an opportunity to join something but in the end I didn't. Overall the thing I was going to join seemed fun. But because of not choosing to persuade that decision I don't think I will experience that opportunity again.
