Basically

White infiltrated Chroma's mind, warped it in such a way that it looked like they were just regular people and Chroma had been imagining burnincat as a way to cope with his death in this false reality

in this reality White is obviously a staff member at this hospital and talks with Chroma, then eventually leads him towards the outside (metaphorical for the actual outside of burnincats mind)

while Chroma had noticed something up, it was a little too late, and he had already been forced out of the hospital

this took a TON of energy from white (which he didnt even realize himself), so purple decided to pull up and bully him a little before taking burnincat (whos alive)

Damn white really cheesed the system.

White didnt know how close he got to losing tbf

if chroma had stalled for just a minute longer in the false dimension white probably wouldve gassed out

and if he stalled a minute longer outside he probably couldve gotten away while white was gassed out
