The Animator

this is an alternate timeline of the first season of corrupt shards - where white ends up succeeding in his plan to gather every shard and achieve the power hed been looking for.

he now desires to go beyond just his own universe, realizing that theres other powerful characters to harvest the life-force from. he creates 2 guardians, "black" and "proto"

"black" isnt black from corrupt shards, its simply an avatar, however it mimics the style of him when he was possessed by white (except a wider range of abilities eg. limb lengthening and all that)

"proto" is interesting. its short for "prototype" because he was the first stick figure design ever in the universe where they all originated from (again just an avatar based off whites own interest) these 2 are tasked with killing and harvesting the souls of the animators across the multiverse

alternate timeline, so its not exactly canon to anyone here (so rest assured if you just watched yourself get pelted into oblivion (these guys are meant to be incredibly dangerous due to whites immense power gain))
